“Public Speaking Intensive Berlin” is a one-day workshop designed for professionals who want to maintain a clear, focused, and effective style when speaking under pressure.
You know your subject. You know why it matters. Then the room turns towards you.
Suddenly, you speed up. You explain too much. Silence feels longer than it really is. You know exactly what you mean, but what comes out does not quite carry the same weight.
Public Speaking Intensive Berlin is a one-day, in-person public speaking workshop for professionals who want the way they communicate to better reflect the role they already occupy.
Not by becoming louder. Not by performing confidence. Not by collecting another ten public speaking tricks. By practising what happens when people are actually listening.

Public speaking is not only the moment when you step onto a stage. It is already part of work whenever people need your words to create clarity, direction or a decision.
You may need to speak when you are:
In all these situations, the challenge is similar: your competence needs to remain visible when attention turns towards you.
And no, this is not only for executives or managers. You might be a founder, consultant, specialist, team leader, sales professional, entrepreneur or someone who has simply become more visible as their role has grown.
The title is not the point. The communication responsibility is.
Your expertise is there. But pressure changes things.
Your pace accelerates. Your voice becomes flatter. Your body gets tighter. You keep talking because stopping suddenly feels dangerous. Or your attention moves away from the people in front of you and towards one distracting thought: How am I coming across?
None of this means you do not know your subject.
Pressure can simply make your competence harder to see.
Professional growth does not automatically bring communication growth with it.
You can earn the promotion before you learn how to inhabit the room differently. Become the expert everyone turns to and still overexplain. Lead a team and still rush through the silence that would give your words more authority. Have a strong idea and make it sound smaller than it is.
This is the gap we work on during the Intensive: the gap between the role you have already earned and the way that role becomes visible when you speak under pressure.
The aim is not to create a new persona. It is to remove some of the rushing, tension and unnecessary control that get between you and the people listening, so that what is already there can come through.
Make eye contact. Slow down. Pause. Tell a story. Stand confidently.
Most professionals already know at least some of the theory. Then comes the useful question: can you actually do it when the room is watching?
Public Speaking Intensive Berlin is not a lecture, It is a full day built around deliberate practice, individual feedback, observation and repetition.
Speak. Observe. Receive feedback. Adjust. Try again.
Because Intensive means high practice density. Not exhausting. Not extreme. Concentrated.
Instead of spending most of the day listening to someone explain how public speaking works, you spend it speaking, observing, experimenting and adjusting.
One day will not create mastery, and that is not the promise. But it can create a concentration of deliberate practice, feedback and awareness that would be difficult to reproduce alone over several months.
Before the first sentence, your body has already entered the conversation. We work with embodiment, grounding, physical tension, gesture, movement and the way you occupy space.
Not to teach you “power poses”, but to recognise what your body starts doing under observation and reduce the movements and tensions that weaken your message. Presence often comes from doing less: less rushing, less random movement, less physical noise. More intention.
Being heard is not the same as speaking loudly. We work on projection, articulation, vocal variety, rhythm and pause, so that your voice can carry the message rather than the pressure.
You will also receive a personal tool for voice training, and learn a short practical routine to use before presentations, important meetings, speeches and other demanding speaking situations.
Silence is part of this work too. A pause can give an idea weight, create anticipation and give people time to think. It is not an empty space you need to escape.
When professionals prepare an important presentation, the instinct is often: What else should I add? A stronger question can be: What can I remove?
We work on openings, central messages, storytelling, economy and rhythm. The goal is not to fit everything you know into the time available, but to decide what the audience needs to understand, remember and do.
That starts with intention. Not only What do I want to say? but What needs to change because I have spoken?
Eye contact is not a mechanical rule. It is relationship. The work is about seeing individual people and remaining connected instead of disappearing into your own head.
Then pressure arrives. Someone asks the question you hoped they would not ask. You lose your train of thought. Something does not go to plan. The skill is not never losing the thread. It is knowing how to stay in the room and recover when you do.
The Intensive Workshop is built around Authentic Speaker Practice, Carlo Loiudice’s approach combining public speaking, coaching and tools derived from professional actor training.
The work develops across three connected dimensions: Intention, understanding what your communication needs to produce; Authority, aligning voice, body, rhythm, silence, clarity and presence with the role you occupy; Connection, creating a genuine relationship with the people listening.
Authenticity here does not mean behaving the same way in every context. It means understanding the situation and bringing yourself fully into the role you already occupy, without creating a character.
Leadership communication is not reserved for people with “Head of” in their title.
Sometimes it means guiding the attention of a room. Making complexity understandable. Facilitating a discussion. Holding a pause. Giving people direction in a meeting. Speaking clearly when a decision needs to be made.
The Intensive training is therefore relevant not only to formal speeches, but to meetings, team communication, senior-management presentations, pitches, panels, decision-making conversations and professional public appearances.
Not mastery. Not a personality transplant. And certainly not a guarantee that you will never feel nervous again.
You can leave with:
Most importantly, you experience the distance between knowing what good communication looks like and accessing it while attention is on you. That distance can be trained.
You do not need to be an executive. You do not need “public speaker” in your bio. You do not even need to enjoy public speaking.
The workshop is for professionals whose work requires communication, visibility and influence, whether that means presenting results, leading a meeting, facilitating a discussion, speaking to a team, presenting to senior management, pitching an idea, joining a panel or contributing when an important decision is being made.
It is probably not the right format if you want a mainly theoretical seminar, a collection of quick tricks, or a day in which you can sit at the back without speaking or receiving feedback.
This is practice. You will be part of it.
The Intensive Workshop is limited to a maximum of 12 participants because practice takes time and individual feedback takes attention.
A small group means more opportunities to speak, be observed, experiment, receive feedback and try again while the experience is still fresh. You also learn by watching other people work, developing the observation that supports better self-correction.

The entire Intensive takes place in person in Berlin.
Carlo is a Public Speaking Coach, ICF-certified coach, TEDx coach and professional actor based in Berlin, with more than 30 years of professional acting experience.
His work has long involved the same variables that become decisive in high-pressure communication: voice, body, space, attention, intention, audience connection and the ability to recover in real time.
His acting background is not a decorative credential; it is part of his method.
You are not coming to the Intensive to learn how to act. You are coming to practice how to remain yourself when the situation demands more of you.
Lunch is part of the rhythm of the day. It gives the group time to decompress, talk informally and build the trust that makes the afternoon work stronger. No forced networking. Just a room that has already started becoming a group.

No formal training is required. The Intensive is particularly relevant if speaking in front of other people is already part of your professional life or is becoming more important as your responsibilities grow. You do not need to arrive as an experienced speaker. You do need to be willing to practice.
Yes. The goal is not to eliminate nervousness. The workshop helps you practice remaining clear, present and connected while pressure is there, and the day develops progressively rather than throwing participants immediately into the most demanding situation.
No. Carlo uses principles and tools derived from professional actor training to work on voice, body, embodiment, space, attention and performance under pressure. The application is professional communication. You are not learning to play a character.
No. The workshop is held in English, but this is not an English course. You do not need to be a native speaker, and the focus is not on correcting your grammar or accent. It is on how you communicate.
No. Your job title is not the criterion. The workshop is for professionals whose role requires communication, visibility and influence, from specialists and consultants to founders, sales professionals, team leaders, managers and entrepreneurs.
No. You can arrive without prepared material and participate fully. If you already have a real presentation, speech or professional communication challenge you want to work on, you may bring it, but it is optional.
One day cannot create mastery. It can create a high concentration of deliberate practice. You speak, receive feedback, make an adjustment and try again while the experience is still happening. That gives you direct experience and practical tools to continue using afterwards.
A maximum of 12 participants. The group is deliberately small so that everyone has time to speak repeatedly, receive individual attention and learn through observation as well as direct practice.
Yes. Lunch, coffee and tea during scheduled breaks are included in the ticket price.
Yes. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance issued by Carlo Loiudice after completing the Public Speaking Intensive.
Yes. An invoice can be issued to your company or freelance business. The advertised ticket prices include German VAT. If you or your company are entitled to deduct input VAT, the VAT shown on a valid invoice can generally be claimed when the workshop is purchased for business purposes and the applicable tax requirements are met. For your individual tax position, check with your accountant or tax adviser.
Very. You will not spend seven hours listening to someone talk about speaking. The principle running through the day is simple: Speak. Observe. Receive feedback. Adjust. Try again.
There comes a point when knowing your subject is no longer the whole job.
You have to hold attention. Make complexity clear. Facilitate a conversation. Present a result. Give an idea weight. Speak to senior management. Take a position when a decision is being made. Pause without disappearing. Recover when something changes.
And allow the people in front of you to experience the competence that is already there.
You do not need to become someone else to do that. You need a place to practice it.
